Paperworks Private Limited was established with the aim of providing consultancy service to the Tourism Industry of Maldives which is the main industry that drives the economy of the country. With the progression within the industry, the number and types of tourist establishments have increased over the years and simultaneously standards and regulations are to be followed starting from development to and during operations.

The company is mainly targeted to provide consultancy services in all aspects of government compliancy with regard to design, layouts, construction, processing permits, environmental aspects, food hygiene, fire and safety regarding developments and operation of tourism related establishments in the Maldives.

Specializations

Development & Construction

• Assist the Resorts & Hotels in obtaining approvals necessary for commencing construction.
• Provide guidance for compliancy during the construction and adhering to the laws and regulations of the Republic of Maldives.
• Providing assistance in government affairs specifically to obtain the required permits.

Pre-Opening

• Inspect and provide consultancy to facilitate all tourist establishments to meet the standards for opening and operations that are to be followed by laws and regulations covered by the government authorities.
• Assistance in preparing standard operating procedures that align with the requirements of the authorities.
• Providing assistance in government affairs specifically to obtain the required permits for operating the establishments.

Retainer Services

• Monitoring the establishment for compliance on the local standards and regulations throughout the operations.
• Providing Consultancy for any issues related to government compliancy that arises with the resort operations.
• Provide guidance in further developments and enhancements planned for the establishment in terms of government standards.
• Obtain required permits that are necessary for daily operations of the tourist establishments.

Food Safety

• Inspect and provide consultancy to facilitate all tourist establishments based on government standards with regard to food safety and hygiene.

Fire Safety

• Inspect and provide consultancy to facilitate all tourist establishments based on government standards with regard to fire safety and security.

Human Resource Management

• Analyze the employment contracts and provide feedback in accordance to the Employment Act of the Maldives.
• Provide consultancy with regard to the staff accommodation, recreation, recruitment and trainings.

Disaster Management & Security

• Preparing Disaster management plans based on the security and safety of tourist establishments. • Inspect and provide consultancy to facilitate all tourist establishments based on government standards with regard to security measures at the establishment.

Government Affairs

• Process administrative documentation required to obtain various permits and registrations from Government Authorities based on the clients needs.

Especially, to clear the doubts and misinterpretation of rules and regulations which are difficult to understand for foreign parties.
